Our neurological and paediatric participants are particularly close to Sarah’s heart. She has a young family herself and experience with family members who are on the spectrum. Sarah had a life-changing diagnosis of epilepsy in her mid-twenties. Petit Mal/Absence Seizures necessitated a career change, and we are delighted to have Sarah on our team!
Outside of work, Sarah has a busy home life with her husband Sam. They are live-in carers for Sam’s grandmother, parents to two young children and have 3 cats and 2 dogs! This includes one of our very own Happiness Consultants, Stanley.
Ashleigh (Ash) joined the Hively team as a Support Coordinator in early 2023. Ash is highly experienced, both lived and learned, in the human services and disability sector.

Ash has previously worked providing direct intervention and support as a Behaviour Therapist and within her own practice Ash has a strong focus on Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Ash is nearing completion of her Bachelor of Counselling with the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors and looks forward to continuing her career in the disability sector.
